Brief

Enquiry received from client following previous work undertaken at their restaurant/tourist centre. They were looking for a product to enclose an expansive verandah/deck area thereby extending their dining area. The brief was a system that would not inhibit the mountain range / rural view, but would block out the winds, maintain light & sunshine and provide for evening dining / special functions.

Project Description

Following discussions with management and staff a consensus was reached to install the Channel-IT system, using removable posts not only to reduce the span widths we had to work with, but also posts that could be readily dismantled when blinds were not in use, to maintain the stunning rural views.

To further enhance the general décor and appearance the Channel-IT framing was left in its raw state rather than being powder-coated which complements and blends in beautifully with the building surrounds.

Diners now have the option of all the comforts while still retaining the views and a client who thinks Channel-IT ‘is the best thing since sliced bread’
